Filtering involves separating certain parts of the hemp plant in order to retain primarily the components needed for the production of CBD resins.
The goal here is to collect as many trichomes as possible—those small resinous glands that occur naturally on hemp flowers.
Trichomes contain, among other things, cannabinoids and terpenes, which are responsible for the product's aromatic characteristics.
The principle of filtration dates back several centuries. For a long time, various methods have been used to extract and concentrate the resin found on hemp flowers.
Modern techniques have simply made it possible toimprove the precision of the process and the quality of the final result.
