What is a CBD cigarette?
A CBD cigarette is a pre-rolled hemp cigarette packaged in a pack like a traditional cigarette. You may also come across it under the name “cannarette.” CBD (cannabidiol) is a compound naturally found in hemp that, unlike THC, does not produce a high.
Some customers choose this product as a legal alternative to tobacco as part of their efforts to quit smoking. If this applies to you, check the ingredients first: “ White Widow,” for example, is nicotine-free.
How do you choose a pack of CBD cigarettes?
There are really only two factors that distinguish one pack from another: the hemp variety and the rolling paper used. You can check the rest on the product page before ordering:
- the variety and its flavor profile;
- the type of sheet;
- the presence or absence of nicotine;
- the number of cigarettes per pack;
- the THC content.
White Widow or " Amnesia ": What is its flavor profile?
White Widow has a herbal and resinous character, with earthy, woody, and slightly spicy undertones. Amnesia also starts with herbal notes but leans toward fresher, slightly fruity ones. The aromas may vary slightly from one batch of hemp to another.
For your first order, choose a variety whose flower you're already familiar with: you'll recognize the same aromatic notes—only the size will be different.
Unbleached paper or blunt paper
The paper changes the appearance of the pack and contributes to the character of each product. “ White Widow ” cigarettes are rolled in unbleached paper, whose natural color sets them apart from traditional white paper. “Amnesia ” uses blunt paper, which sets it apart from an ordinary pre-roll.
CBD Cigarettes or CBD Pre-Rolls: What's the Difference?
Both CBD cigarettes and pre-rolls are made from pre-rolled hemp products, but they differ in appearance.
CBD cigarettes are generally sold in packs and come in a more standardized format. CBD pre-rolls, on the other hand, are often sold individually or in small packs.
The choice therefore depends mainly on the desired format and the available options.:
- The flowers are sold whole, in airtight bags, and let you decide everything. In our collection of CBD flowers, the varieties are categorized by cultivation method, with volume-based pricing. This is the most economical option if you already have your own routine and equipment.
- Pre-rolls are already rolled, just like cigarettes, but they're sold individually or in small packs. Our CBD pre-rolls are a great way to try out a strain without committing to a whole pack.
- CBD cigarettes take the concept of pre-rolls to the next level: 20 identical cigarettes packaged together in a compact pack, with no preparation required. If you already know which strain you like, this is the easiest format to carry with you.
How do you store hemp cigarettes?
Keep the package tightly closed in a dry place at a stable temperature, away from direct light. Humidity and high temperatures can damage the cigarettes and affect the hemp’s flavor: avoid storing them in the glove compartment in the middle of summer or on a windowsill in the sun.
