Mama to the rescue: today, I'm talking to you about CBD resin, a lesser-known product than CBD oil or flowers, but which also has benefits and uses that are worth knowing about. Why buy CBD resin? Find out with me right now.
Let me explain what CBD resin is
CBD resin is extracted from hemp flowers and comes in the form of hash, which isa rather soft CBD paste.
CBD resin is used as an additive in foods and beverages. It is also used in the manufacture of edibles, dietary supplements, cosmetics and medicines, or can beused to supplement the products of your choice with cannabidiol.
Is it legal at Ireland ? YesLike all cannabis-derived products, CBD resin is legal if it contains less than 0.3% THC in the finished product.
The alleged benefits of CBD resin
The supposed benefits of CBD resin are similar to those of any other hemp product containing cannabidiol. It should be noted, however, that resin is far more concentrated in CBD than any other product (as I explain further down in this article).
So while we don't yet have a definitive list of all the benefits of CBD, we do know that the molecule is highly recommended for promoting relaxation and helping with in cases of stress and anxiety. CBD is therefore a natural anxiolytic.
We also know that cannabidiol is a natural alternative for subjects suffering from sleep-related problems, helping them to fall asleep and promoting better quality sleep. A painkiller and powerful aid against chronic ailments and inflammation, CBD can also be used in many physical ailments such as osteoarthritis. Recent studies are even investigating the positive effects of CBD on the mind and certain neurological diseases.
The benefits of CBD are numerous, and new properties are often discovered. Of course, all these benefits have yet to be studied and proven, but research using CBD as the main substance is numerous and recurrent.
You can use CBD resin like flowers
In fact, CBD resin is nothing more or less than a by-product of CBD flowers. So you can use it in the same way as CBD flowers. What am I referring to when I say the same use as flowers? Well, you have several options, which I'll tell you about right away.
I told you that CBD resin takes the form of a rather soft paste. So you can use it in cooking. Like all CBD products, don't forget that resin is fat-soluble. So it's imperative to use some form of fat so that the cannabidiol can be assimilated by your body. Grated onto the dish of your choice or melted into a fatty product, the possibilities are endless and it can be incorporated into any preparation.
If cooking isn't your thing, you can opt to vaporize the resin using a special device. This method of consumption relies on inhalation of the substance, with rapid effects (within about 1 hour). It's also the least risky way of using the drug.
CBD resin has a higher concentration of CBD
Remember that CBD resin is produced by female cannabis plants from their secretory glands. The material can be extracted by various means, which simply separate the resin from the plant material. Obtained by drying, pressing or thermal processes, resin is the plant's precious nectar. It is also the most concentrated material obtainable. The CBD content of resins varies from 70% CBD to over 99% CBD in the finished product.
